Toothbrush printing system

This turn table system is dedicated to print polypropylene tooth brushes two up in one or two colors.

The heart of this system is a 40” diameter, 8 position motor driven cam actuated turn table tooled to accept 12 different types of two up; zero adjustment; quick change fixtures.

Parts are manually loaded to the turn table where they are taken to a reciprocating plasma treat station. Treated parts index to the first of two G2-60 print stations to receive the first print. Printed parts then proceed to the second G2-60 print station which can be turned on or off depending weather or not a second color application is required. Printed parts then index to a forced air drying station for tack drying before they are off loaded from the system by a two axis automatic pick and place device.

This system features an Allen Bradley 40 I/O programmable controller; touch screen control panel; light curtain and safety interlocked doors.

Although this is a dedicated system, it is also a good example of the G2 AMP’s capabilities.
