Modem housings printer

This fully automated printing system integrates into a fully automated telephone modem assembly line. This automated print cell consists of one Printex G2-150 pad printer and two Printex RP-60R (horizontal printing) machines. All three printers are positioned around a 40” diameter 12 position motor driven cam actuated turn table. The G2-150 first prints a logo on the top of the modem. The modems are indexed to the RP-60R stations to receive two side prints before proceeding to a post print drying station.

Loading and off loading robots situated before and after the print stations take parts from the customer’s production line and places them on to part holding fixtures on the turn table and off load the printed parts back on to the customers production line for final assembly.

This system is equipped with a 48 I/O programmable controller and touch screen control panel, easily integrated with the customer’s existing automated production line.

This automated print cell is a good example of Printex’s ability to design, manufacture and integrate automated pad printing solutions to meet our customers’ most demanding production requirements.
