G2-150 The G2-150 sets the standard for the industry for being a versatile stand alone pad printer and a dedicated component to an automated production line. A more powerful drive train than the G2-125, bolstered by a large and robust open “C” frame, the G2-150 is a production proven machine made to handle bigger graphics on larger parts. An array of optional user-installable, “Plug-and-Play” part indexing systems; inking systems; and zero-adjustment pin registered plate systems, allow the G2-150 to tackle single; multi color; and wide format printing applications. Many of the “Plug-and-Play” systems developed for the G2- 150 printer are compatible with the larger G2-175 printer and in keeping with the Printex G2 design philosophy all G2-150 “Plug-and-Play” components are designed for rapid deployment or detachment. The G2-150 printer features a programmable controller with user-friendly touch screen interface covering print mode selection; machine set up functions; and multiple job settings recall. G2-150 Turn Table (Cam Driven) “Plug-and-Play” Attachment: The G2-150 cam driven turn table offers precise part indexing while allowing for increased output through simultaneous loading and printing. The turn table separates the operator from the printer. Optional pretreatment; post print drying; and automatic part removal stations can be added around the turn table to increase both capabilities and speed. The standard 24” diameter table allows the user to select between four, six or eight station indexing depending on part size and or application at the time of order. Attachment of this turn table is quick and simple, requiring no tools. |

G2-150 Transverse Cup Drive “Plug-and-Play” Attachment: The “Plug-and-Play” transverse cup drive and plate system allows for longer and wider printing areas of up to 4.25” tall and up to 24” long. The transverse inking plate system easily installs in under 5 minutes, to allow switching between wide format and standard printing. Once installed, the cup travel quickly adjusts between 24", 30" and 36" while retaining the same pad to plate center point. The transverse cup system is ideal for printing on long parts or rectangular artwork. |

G2-150 Two-Color “Plug-and-Play” Pneumatic Shuttle Attachment: The G2-150 “Plug-and-Play” two-color system allows for two color images that fit in a 5.75” diameter image area to be printed sequentially. The part remains in the fixture and is moved between stations with micrometer precision using a pneumatic shuttle slide. The zero-adjustment pin registration plate system developed by Printex allows for a precisely registered print every time with no setup readjustment needed. The two-color print program allows for independent print stroke adjustments on station one and two to accommodate different artwork requirements. This program also allows for an adjustable delay between cycles to give the operator enough time for loading and unloading. G2-150 Four-Color “Plug-and-Play” Carousel Indexer Attachment: The four-color carousel indexer features an oval track with 14 stations. The system can accommodate up to four-color artwork that fits in a 3.75” diameter area. The four printing stations on the indexer feature shot pin locking mechanism to ensure dead-on accuracy. The index pitch is 4.5”. The carousel can be operated in single indexing mode when printing four-color applications or double indexing mode for two-up two color printing. G2-150 Four-Color “Plug-and-Play” Servo Driven Shuttle Indexer Attachment: The G2-150 “Plug-and-Play” four-color servo driven linear indexer allows for images that contain up to four colors and fit in a 3.75” diameter image area to be printed sequentially. The part remains in the fixture and is moved between print stations with micrometer precision using a linear servo slide. The pitch is set up for 4.5” and can adjust laterally in +/- .001” increments. Stations can be selectively turned on and off to save time when printing in less than four colors. Once the linear servo slide is purchased, it can also be used for two-color applications, saving the need to purchase a pneumatic slide. The zero-adjustment pin registration plate system developed by Printex allows for rapid plate changes and precise print every time with no setup readjustment needed. G2-150 Independent Multiple Print Head Option: -- not shown -- The independent multiple print head option is available in two, three and four print station configurations. Multiple independent print heads mounted on a single carriage allow for individually adjustable pad pressure for inking and printing strokes at different print stations as well as enabling multiple print cycles at a given station during a multi color print sequence. This option is typically used in conjunction with the 4 Color “Plug-and-Play” servo driven shuttle indexer. The G2-150 multiple print head option is not a “Plug-and-Play” as it requires a taller machine main frame. Therefore, this option must be pre selected prior to machine purchase. |
