Eight-Color AMP-based Printing System
This system is a very good example of the Printex AMP (Automated Modular Platform) in action. Eight G2-100's mate with the AMP turntable to become on centrally-controlled pad printing system. Any of the printers can be quickly uncoupled for stand-alone operation if the need arises.

The Printex AMP includes an array of standard features such as a touchscreen interface, pin-registered printhead mounts, quick-change tooling and automation accessories options (robotics, pre- and post-treatment, etc). The specific AMP employed in this system has the following specifications:
- 6 XYR-adjustable printer stages;
- 60-inch diameter motor drive cam indexed turn table;
- 5 post print hot air assist tack dry stations;
- Turn table mounted programmable automatic pad cleaning tape off unit;
- Pendant mounted touch screen controls;
- 60 I/O programmable controller

The overhead swingarm-mounted touchscreen interface allows the operator to have access to the AMP controls from nearly any point around the circumference of the system.
